Regard to the design of ADM1177

I have questions regarding to below document.

At "design example" section;

1, "Itrip=30A" value is referring to the Id value of external MOSFET?
    Please teach me the rationale that is set to "30A".
2, Does Ipowerup mean inrush current to the load?
