ADP1055 PRIMARY FAST OVERCURRENT PROTECTION

An other question about the ADP1055.

We have a current transformer for sensing the primary current of a full bridge phase shift converter.

We hope to use the primary fast OCP to limit the peak current cycle by cycle while waiting that the converter enter in constant current mode (based on CS2 measurement) in case of overload.

When a significant overload occurs the fast OCP1 is triggered and the PWM are stopped cycle by cycle.

But unfornately the converter in not stable and does not operate properly, does not recover after overload release..

I think a compensation ramp should be added to operate properly in peak current limitation.

Please could you confirm that a compensation ramp is necessary?

Could the ADP1055 be programmed for compensation or should we add an analog compensation?

Regards,

Guillaume
